Pinterest for audio
The quail had flocked into my neighbor's yard so I ran inside for my iPhone, which now has the ability to capture audio. I wanted to share the sounds quail make. That's what this is: not a video but an audio clip.
Why isn't there aPinterest Flickr for audio? YouTube for audio? Audio used to be old school but now we have podcasts, so it's hip again, right?

My Beloved and I had a heated exchange about which was Sasha and which was Quail. I duckduckgo'd "quail sounds" to prove one of us right. I think what you have is a California Quail. Who knew there were so many?!
Still can't tell which is which!
No, I can't tell which is which! But I have some guesses. But now I want to cheat and look at the acoustics. What form of soundfile do you have? Could you email me a file?
I can't tell! In the past week we've had a wild turkey and an owl (I think a screech owl) in our yard, but didn't get to hear either make a sound.
