Stuff II

Labor Day weekend my husband and I hosted a sleepover for six families at my in-laws' Camp Sherman house. For toys I brought two board games (the forecast called for rain) and a bag full of recycling: egg cartons, empty bottles, stuff like that. We also had two large rolls of duct tape.

If you ever need to entertain 14 children, raid the recycle bin first. Those kids spent hours building boats, launching them in the creek, racing to catch them — and then destroying them and building again.

That is extremely clever. And I will borrow it, I assure you. Thanks.
